No additives!
All of our 100% pressed fruit juices are immediately bottled after pressing and pasteurisation. Because they contain no additives, they retain most of their original vitamins, minerals and flavour.
For nectars, the addition of sugar is limited to what is strictly necessary
For our nectars, where the aim is to guarantee the smooth and thick appearance of the particularly delicate fruit while preserving its fibrous, natural elements, water and sugar must be added to the pulp and juice. The addition of sugar is limited to what is strictly necessary. For example, after adding water in the case of an excessively pulpy fruit, like the apricot, only the amount of sugar required to restore the original taste of the fruit is added. To do this, we systematically measure the sweetness of our purées before adding water, so that once water is added, the original sugar content of the nectar is restored.
A preserved texture
At Pressoirs de Provence, we attach great importance to not only the taste of the finished product but also to its texture. When the consumer enjoys a Pressoirs de Provence juice or nectar, we want them to feel like they’re eating the fruit or biting into it. It is essential, for example, that the characteristic granularity of the pear be present in every sip of the Williams Pear Nectar from the Les Incontournables collection.
The authentic taste experience
For Pressoirs de Provence, each consumer should feel like they’re reliving the whole original fruit experience. A fruit juice is sampled like a wine. In stages. As a matter of fact, when you sample the Cloudy Apple Juice in the Les Incontournables collection, you’ll find an after taste of seed and skin. Each Pressoirs de Provence juice and nectar reflects all of these taste variations and will wake your taste buds up with the authentic taste of the fruit.
